Our season 2021 is about to start, and your safety and the safety of our employees is, more than ever, our highest priority.

All measures recommended and required by the government and the WHO, which were already implemented by us in 2020, continue to apply for 2021.
In addition, for your health and that of our employees, we would like to move even further with preventive measures against the Coronavirus. We are committed to respecting all barrier measures (frequent hand washing, keeping a minimum distance, mandatory mask protection...), but also:
• Thorough cleaning of public areas with clinical disinfection products (reception, sanitary facilities, payment terminals, entrance door handles, etc.)
• Provide of disinfectant gel at the reception, in the "8 à Huit" supermarket, at the pool area and in the sanitary facilities.

• Simplified arrival procedures with "fast check-in". You will receive an email before your arrival inviting you to complete the necessary information for the final registration. Check-in-Terminals will be available for you at the reception. It is not necessary to come to the reception as a group, one person is sufficient.
• A complete disinfection of the accommodation at check-out (airing for several hours, use of medical disinfectants and detergents, disinfection misters, intensive cleaning of switches, keys, door and window handles, remote control, etc.). We would also like to point out that all our accommodations have individual air conditioning and not a central system.
• In the accommodations with premium services, the beds are only made upon explicit request. We will contact you in advance so that you can indicate your choice.
• If you rent bed linen, we ask you to remove them at the end of your stay and put them in the pillowcases. They are to be left outside the accommodation on the terrace. The same applies to all other household linen (towels, bathmats, ...).

For our pool area and miniclub, there is only one regulation in the sanitary protocol of the by the High Council of Public Health (HCSP): to respect the space and distance rule of at least 4 m² per person (swimmers and non-swimmers) in the pool area (pool, baby pool, play area). Our pool area is spacious and experience from the 2020 season shows, that we rarely reached the maximum number of people. We will nevertheless monitor capacity through controls. The pool will also be regularly opened in the evening to extend the opening hours and be flexibly accessible for all guests. The usual hygiene rules will continue to be applied: Access passage through footbath (water is constantly renewed), compulsory shower before swimming, swimming trunks (no shorts). The number of deckchairs will be reduced to maintain the required distances and they are disinfected and fixed to the ground every day.
All these measures can only be fully effective if each of us conscientiously observes these new rules of conduct, just as there were and are rules of conduct before: no jumping or diving, no bringing inflatable play equipment or any form of balls.


We will continuously readjust our hygiene and safety measures, according to the recommendations and specifications of the health authorities, to optimise your well-being and that of our teams, and to ensure your stay as pleasant as possible.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS FOR TRAVEL TO CORSICA

Every traveller older than 11 years of age, irrespective of the mode of transport to Corsica, has to:

•  Present at the boarding (outward journey only) the negative result of an RT-PCR test Covid-19, which has been taken within 72 hours before the arrival in Corsica.

•  Present at the boarding (outward journey only), a ‘sworn statement’(déclaration sur l’honneur) form self-certifying they are not suffering from symptoms associated with coronavirus and have not been in contact with confirmed cases in the preceding fortnight (14 days).

COMMERCIAL MEASURES OF CAMPING SAN DAMIANO

In case of a positive RT-PCR test of one of the traveller of your stay, Camping San Damiano commits (1):

•  in the case of a camping stay with a pitch and without the "CAMP'FLEX" option: credit voucher for the entire stay to be carried over to the current season or the following season.
•  For a camping stay with a pitch and with the "CAMP'FLEX" option: refund of the total amount of the stay, minus the charges of the "CAMP'FLEX" option.
•  For a stay in accommodation: credit voucher for the entire stay, less the reservation fee and the amount of the cancellation option, to be carried to the current season or the following season.

  • With the "CAMP'FLEX" option, pitch reservations are changeable, can be cancelled and are refundable without justification.
  • The "CAMP'FLEX" option takes effect from the moment you receive confirmation of your booking from the camping San Damiano and ends 24 hours before the scheduled arrival date, at 12 noon.
  • This option does not cover interruption or early departure of your stay.
  • Please send the cancellation request either by e-mail to: service-client@campingsandamiano.com or by post to: Camping San Damiano - 1075, Lido de la Marana - 20620 Biguglia. No justification or proof is required.
  • The refund cannot exceed 3 000€ per client file and San Damiano customer account.
  • The "CAMP'FLEX" option is not refundable.

 
 
 

  • The “Cancellation of accommodation” option covers the refund of the committed costs for the accommodation, in all cases of cancellation where the journey is prevented by a random event that can and must be justified. Please find further detailed information here.
  • The "Cancellation of accommodation" option takes effect from the moment you receive confirmation of your accommodation reservation from the camping San Damiano and ends on the day of your scheduled arrival at 12 noon.
  • This option does not cover interruption or early departure of your stay.
  • Any cancellation request must be notified within five working days of the occurrence of the event justifying it.
  • Please send the cancellation request with the related justifying documents either by e-mail to: service-client@campingsandamiano.com or by post to: Camping San Damiano - 1075, Lido de la Marana - 20620 Biguglia.
  • The refund cannot exceed 8 000€ per client file and San Damiano customer account.
